The Story

At the age of 4, my cousins handed me an Xbox controller and had me fight my first Flood in Halo. When I was 5, my father enrolled me in design workshops at our local community center. At 13, I found out you can edit your Tumblr code and make your ideal page. At 21, I figured out what I want to do with my life.

For almost two decades, I thought I was going to be a scientist, no matter what, but everything can change in the blink of an eye. All it can take is one class, one job opportunity, one moment, and a brand new door has opened up.

I may not be studying the ocean anymore, but hey, maybe 8 years of fish anatomy can come in handy somewhere, right?
